Obituary

Victoria Juliet Jumai Ogayja was born May 24 1929 in Kano Nigeria to Sylvia Memunatu Wilson (nee Sharifiya ) and Walter Wilson and was the 6th child of seven daughters all who have predeceased her.

Vicky attended the Government Model School and the Convent School in Freetown. She had her post secondary education in Skerry's College, Eillison in Newcastle on Tyne in UK where she studied professional preliminary administrative work, in the English college covering commercial and office training courses in 1955

She worked as a secretary in renowned department stores of UAC and PZ in Freetown.

She met Samuel Solade Adams in 1952 and was married in June 1953 she was devotedly in love with him all the time. They were married for 60 years till he passed in 2013 and were blessed with three children and Stanley, Walter and Solade

Vicky demonstrated a selfless love for her family and many have testified to her the care concern and help she rendered them. She was very accommodating, amiable, generous, warm and affectionate. She was a perfect housewife, housekeeper and homemaker, great cook and Mother with strong family values. Hard working, full of humor and used parables in her conversation always.

She supported her husband unconditionally where ever he went to study, work and live. She was there whether in Freetown, Goderich, Regent, Sierra Leone, New York, UK, Molepolole in Botswana, Nigeria or Minnesota and Las Vegas in USA.

For My dad to have succeeded from a Third clerk, when they met to become an eminent renowned Principal of Milton Margai Teachers College from 1965 to 1980, a consultant for the UN and facilitator/resource person for countless educational bodies where he has left such a legacy and became a well known educationist in Sierra Leone -she was the wind beneath his wings- VICKY was the dynamics of His success.

Vicky was a committed Christian who received Christ into her life as Lord and personal savior. She was steadfast in prayer till the end. This was her driving force in Her life and we thank God that she is finally in the arms of HER master enjoying that eternal life promised to all who believe

She is survived by her children, Stanley, Walter, Solade and Sam, a daughter-in-law and son-in-law, numerous grand and great grand children, nephews and nieces, relatives and close friends in Freetown, Nigeria, The USA and UK

May Her beautiful Soul Rest In Eternal Peace
